ArboTravelers Study
Arboviruses include Zika, dengue, chikungunya and others that are transmitted by ticks and mosquitoes, causing a range of diseases in people around the world.
Our lab works to understand how antibodies, molecules made by the human immune system, interact with these viruses to fight or prevent infection.
This study enrolls individuals who may have been exposed to one of these viruses through travel or residence in an endemic area. Our goal is to generate important knowledge about human antibodies to virus infections that can help develop vaccines and better diagnostic tests.
See our flyer for additional information.
